Tanya Parker, Creative Developer

Tanya Eloise Parker
Developer, Nerd, Fan of Pigeons
With eight years experience as a creative developer, I deeply enjoy the problem solving aspect of the work, as well as streamlining and optimising projects. I drive to take a holistic view of a project, as the wider context often provides insights into how something will best come together.

Experienced in Typescript and Three.js. Looking for challenges and opportunities to stretch my creative boundaries
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
ZAPPAR: SENIOR DEVELOPER
June 2016 - February 2025
I started at Zappar as a Creative Content Developer, being promoted to Senior Developer in 2019. In addition to developing XR projects, as a senior developer my role involved line management of the development team which at its peak consisted of directly managing seven developers.
During my time at Zappar, I saw several changes in workflow and wider context. From the shift from app-based and whitelabel deliverables to the appearance and adoption of WebAR. Beyond that, my workflow went through several wide-sweeping changes, going from using in-house development and authoring software to a new software suite powered by Three.js.
